Janelle Fitz

I am a graphic designer and visual artist, located in the Fraser Valley of beautiful British Columbia. I grew up with an affinity for creative activities – drawing, painting, writing – and have more than enough childhood keepsakes to prove it.

Fast forward to my time at the University of the Fraser Valley, where I spent two years as an English major before discovering graphic design. I ultimately graduated in 2014 with my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, where I focused my studies on graphic design and visual art.

Since then I have gained a few years of agency experience and have done a variety of design work, including branding (logos, business cards, stationery), layouts for advertising and presentation materials, and imagery for websites and social media. I also continue to develop my own personal body of artwork, primarily in the medium of acrylic painting.

When not working, I can be found hiking, spending time with family and friends, skydiving (I went for the first time a few months ago so it counts as a hobby now), watching Netflix, and taking pictures of my food.
